Moomba 2007

McLean Sound provides the streets of Melbourne with speaker coverage for the Moomba Parade.  Extending down Swanston street we use radio links, batteries and inverters to run several mobile sound vehicles feeding signal to speakers run along the roofs and poles of the city street.  We also provide full range outdoor speakers for the water ski events along the river.

Easternats 2007

What a blast!  Burning rubber, loud and fast. We provide a sound system to overpower blown and stroked V8s revving into the red.
Consisting of three main zones of 100v speaker lines, we cover the grandstand, pits and marshalling areas with signal run from various key sections throughout the venue. Also supplying radio coverage for commentators roaming around the majority of the venue.

Ferrari's 60th Birthday

Australian Grand Prix Corporation and Ferrari teamed up to hold a spectacular event showing off for Ferrari's 60th Birthday.  McLean Sound provided a full range speaker system attached with purpose built hardware along dozens of poles spanning several blocks down Lygon street for the occasion.  We also provided a band stage system for the presentations and acts throughout the event.

BP Ultimate/BRW Corporate Triathlon Series 2007

Providing full range outdoor coverage, this Supersprint event requires music playback, commentary and announcements distributed throughout the complex.  We again supply serious radio mic coverage with our radio distribution amplifiers for free roaming commentators to take advantage of.  The speakers supplied (like with our other outdoor systems) are completely weatherproof.

Phillip Island Moto GP 2006

We cover the media centre with live audio for the various parties involved, as well as recording interviews and editing them for immediate download from the internet.  We also cover many of the peripheral stages with full range and radio solutions, including the Muster tent, the autographing/band stage, the Moto Experience stage and several other private marquees during the races.
